Marion County Extension
Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Marion County Extension work officially started on February 1, 1916. F.N. Hutcheson was the first County Agent. Kitty McDonald was the first Home Agent (Home Economist). She began this work on September 1, 1917.
Marion County offers programs in agriculture and natural resources, 4-H youth development, family and consumer scicences, and resource development. University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Agriculture and county governments cooperating. UT Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment.
